Keynote Theme Park HD Themes |
This is rather lengthy but for those interested in why we do HD themes in resolutions a little off from the norm, here is the thinking behind it, and the real story about resolution and Keynote. MORE

Theme Park does not support Keynote 1 or 2 |
Our files open in Keynote 3 and above, we strongly reccommend Keynote 4. |
Keynote Additions Change |
On October 18, 2007 we changed the structure of the Keynote Additions folder where extra material is located. The old versions used the term "Theme Park" in front of "Extras", "Stuff" and "Supplementals". It made the titles too long for the column view. If you find you have both "Extras" and "Theme Park Extras" folders, just move what is in the "Theme Park..." folders into the shorter named folder of the same name and delete the long version. |
|
Where is the Extra Stuff? |
All supplemental materials are installed in "Keynote Additions" in the Shared folder. Get more info on how to set up quick access
to the files from within Keynote, MORE

Charts in TecTile and the "Object Place Holder". |
Since Keynote 2 charts are dropped into the "Object
Placeholder". This effects the TecTile theme. On
February 18, 2005 TecTile was updated. It addresses
(as best we can) some of the chart background's grid not aligning with
the slide background's grid. The Extras include tips on how to correct those
types of charts that are a bit out of alignment. When adding a chart
some do not line up in varying degrees depending on the type of chart.
This is because Keynote 2 and above defines the size of charts including the axis
labels, so as those labels vary in size, the chart box does too. It doesn't take long to align them, it's just a bit of inconvenience
that was not necessary in Keynote 1. |
|
K1 allowed some charts to have backgrounds, K2 forces it into all of them, even Pie Charts! |
You,
like us likely do not
want a background image around a Pie Chart. In Keynote 2, constructing
a theme with a chart background places it in everything including
the Pie Chart. There is no option to take it out of the Pie Chart,
if you do, it takes it out of all the other chart types too. So you must select
the Pie Chart (not a pie piece), go into the Graphic Inspector and
make the Fill "none". |
